Who is the Missouri Baptist Foundation?
The mission of the Missouri Baptist Foundation (MBF) is to strengthen the mission and ministry efforts of Missouri Baptists.
Established in 1946, the Missouri Baptist Foundation began with three accounts and assets of about $80,000. It has grown to manage $133.5 million in assets today, representing over 900 accounts. In fiscal 2017, the Foundation distributed over $9 million in principal and income to Baptist and other causes in Missouri and around the world.
MBF is governed by a twelve member Board of Trustees. It is operated by staff at its headquarters in Jefferson City and regional offices in Eastern and Western Missouri. MBF is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
How Does MBF Serve?
- MBF manages assets that have been placed with it by individuals and families, churches, and mission or ministry organizations.
- MBF representatives meet confidentially with individuals, couples, and families to assist with estate and gift planning. Contact us if you would like to meet with a representative.
- MBF offers educational seminars for churches and other ministry groups.
- MBF provides Trust Administration services to assist individuals and families with estate settlement and professional management of trusts benefiting family and ministries.
