Project: Transportation Project
Purpose: Grant funds have been put to use in the outreach ministry that fixes and refurbishes cars to give to worthy individuals in the community. Four cars have been given to four different families with the fifth in the works. The desperate need for transportation in the community is evident, and Monark is working to bridge the gap between that need and the high cost of transportation.
Heart: “We also have a team of folks who are following up with all the families we have presented cars to in the past. One of the families is now faithful in our church and working with us. Another family has children and grandchildren who attend weekly on Wednesday nights. We are pleased with the response thus far. As you can imagine, we have a lot of folks with transportation challenges.” – Pastor Melvin Stapp
