Dr. Neil Franks, CEP

About Me

Born in the Brick Capital of the world, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR. I have a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Midwestern Seminary. I moved to Missouri out of Seminary and have served as a youth minister, a music and youth minister, an association pastor, a teaching pastor, and a senior pastor. I joined the team as President and CEO of the Missouri Baptist Foundation in 2017. I met my wonderful wife of almost 30 years, in college and convinced her to marry me. She works for Missouri’s Department of Secondary and Elementary Education as the Fine Arts Director. We have two sons, one working in Marketing and the other graduating from MIZZOU this Spring. And we have a new cat named Tony, which I am still not quite sure about.

Why I Work at MBF

I love the Mission. Our purpose is to Advance the Gospel. We get to do that by providing money management services to ministries and helping people plan to make a difference with their financial resources.

Outside of work, my passions include:

I enjoy reading, hiking, thinking, traveling and cheering Sporting KC.
